Although Linseed oil paint is more expensive by the litre than Acrylic paint, it's coverage is at least 30% more and it lasts for well over 15 years, so in the long-run Linseed oil paint is far more economical. Plus when the Linseed oil paint does fade, after around 15 years, a quick coat of linseed oil over the top of it will restore it back to new!
